RANDA PAYNE, J.D.

Chief Executive Officer

Randa Payne serves as the CEO at Velocity Safety Advisors. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a former college athlete with a degree in Business Administration. That background, along with her experience as an attorney and an in-house counsel in the construction industry, Randa provides a unique perspective to business, construction, and safety. Randa’s goal is to maintain long-term, valuable relationships with clients to strive for the mutually beneficial result of a safe workforce.

LAYNE WORTMAN CSP, ASP

President

Layne Wortman has dedicated over two decades to improving workplace safety in the construction industry. He has been able to provide employers with proven results to minimize company risks by identifying hazards, training workers, evaluating behaviors and conditions, and making corrective actions. Layne’s goal is to partner with organizations that share in the same desire to protect their most valuable assets, their workforce. As the President of Velocity Safety Advisors, he leads our daily operations and manages our team of safety professionals.

Brooke Ginn-Tingle

Director of Safety Services

Brooke Ginn-Tingle serves as the Director of Safety Services at Velocity Safety Advisors, bringing more than 20 years of experience in safety management, human resources, and organizational leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Safety, Security, and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University, as well as a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Learning from the University of Louisville. Brooke is an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer and maintains numerous certifications, licenses, and professional memberships, including the American Society of Safety Professionals and the Society for Human Resource Management. As Director of Safety Services, Brooke works on strategic growth and expands Velocity Safety Advisors’ reach into the manufacturing, data center, and power sectors while serving clients nationally.

Janet Hill

Office Coordinator

Janet Hill brings over 17 years of experience coordinating office and HR operations, recruiting, and workforce processes in the construction and manufacturing industries. She has a proven track record of building operations from the ground up and developing the systems, processes, and infrastructure needed to support growing organizations. Her experience includes recruiting, payroll, HR systems, workforce reporting, vendor coordination, HRIS implementations, and policy and procedure development. Janet is OSHA 30 certified and holds a B.S. in Science from Mountain State University. She is also a Co-Founder of SheTrades, an organization supporting women in construction, manufacturing, and the skilled trades. Janet’s goal is to bring her organizational expertise and process-driven approach to support Velocity Safety Advisors’ team, leadership, and continued growth.
